You might be considering milk delivery services but are not sure how it works. We make it easy for you to order without searching all over the website. The Modern Milkman is a subsidiary of a local dairy that provides fresh milk and other farm-fresh products for our Connecticut neighbors.

How Dairy Home Delivery Works

Once you create an account, you’ll see a list of our products. Some of the products change weekly. After logging in, choose a subscription of four, six, or eight products. You can even add more products through the a la carte function.

Changes to Your Dairy Delivery Order

Our customers can change their delivery at least three days before their delivery dates. If you want to swap out a milk bottle for extra cookies or add chocolate or strawberry milk, you can easily make those changes. We’ll notify you of the last day to make changes before your delivery date.

The night before your delivery, we’ll also let you know who your driver is and the time they expect to be at your door. We ask that you keep a cooler out, but we sell porch boxes to keep your products fresh and safe if you don’t have one. 

Getting Ready for the Next Delivery

When you finish the milk, rinse the bottle with soap and water and put it in the porch box or your cooler. We’ll pick it up when we drop off the next bottled milk delivery.

If you have special instructions for the delivery driver, you can log into your account and click on the delivery notes tab to leave the driver a message.
